Hi alexh98
I am Priyanka, Client Manager at ARINGO. Speaking about your profile, I would directly answer your questions,
Combining your first two questions. Getting into M7s with a 680 seems a bit difficult. A higher score can definitely boost your application, especially for M7s. A score above or around 695 FE would be something to aim for. 680 classic does not mean that you won’t be accepted, but then you will need exemplary work on other aspects of your profile. You have mentioned 3+ years of experience, which wouldn’t be able to cover up for your GMAT.

It might be worth considering delaying your applications to Round 2 to improve your score and then apply. Applying with a stronger profile is always better.

If you would like to go ahead with a 680 in R1, work on emphasizing your other strengths. This would involve highlighting your academic achievements, work experience (IMPACT), leadership roles, and extracurricular involvement + social impact. Show the adcoms how you've excelled in challenging environments and also contributed meaningfully to diverse teams. Speak on how your experience will add value to the MBA program, adcoms love this!

Feel free to connect further and we can dive deeper into potential areas for improvement and ways to maximize your chances of admission to M7 programs.
