Hello,
I am a 25 years old Indian Male with about 3 years of Technology Consulting experience on SAP Technologies. I am currently working with one of the Big4 Consulting firms. I am targeting the R1 Phase to apply to B-Schools and would very much appreciate your help in evaluating my profile.
Demographics : Indian Male
Education : Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore, India. GPA - 8.58/10. Major - B.Tech in Electronics and Communication
GMAT : 750 (Q50 V40 IR8 AWA 4.0)
Work Experience : 3 years working in a Big4 Consulting Firm
Promotions : 1 - Joined as an Analyst. Recently got promoted to Consultant.
Role : SAP ABAP Developer
Impact :
• Reduced the time taken to perform a manual activity in SAP S4 system by approximately 70% by identifying the pain points in the existing approach and helping in creating a tool to automate the entire process by collaborating with various teams
• Explored and independently executed a solution to increase the reach of the tool mentioned above by around 27%
• Supported various end-to-end testing phases and the first Go-Live of the tool with a Dutch Multinational Client which was critical for the pipeline which is more than $150 Million.
• Identified and implemented a way to reduce the technical depth of an existing solution for one of the world’s leading pulp and paper company by about 60%. This resulted in reduced maintenance efforts for the company.
• Among the very few people in the firm who have working experience on IBM Sterling which helped in bagging multiple projects from a major US based medical technologies company
• Assisted and mentored a new hire as a part of Buddy Program
Special Accomplishments : Awarded multiple times for outstanding performance
Extracurricular Activities :
During Undergrad-
• Member of Toastmasters International club and served as a part of Executive Committee Board for about a year
• Part of the Organizing Committee for a yearly 2-day event hosting about 1000+ participants

Target Schools : Ross, Tuck, ISB, Duke, UVA Darden, NYU Stern
Reach Schools : INSEAD, Berkeley Haas, LBS, Columbia, Kellogg
Specific Questions :
• Can you please tell my chances for these Target and Reach schools?
• Are there any other schools that you suggest I should consider based on my profile?
• I haven't taken up any considerable ECA since my Undergrad. Will volunteering now make any difference?

Those are great Target schools. They feel generally appropriate. Stern is always tricky because it gets a disproportionately large number of applications relative to its ranking because of its location in NYC. Tuck is also tough because it's small and the school really wants to see a demonstrated interest in the school itself. Tuckies are very loyal to one another, and that's no accident.
Your Reach schools also feel appropriate. I am glad you classified them as such. Columbia is probably the hardest of the bunch followed by Kellogg. I do not think it's inappropriate for you to apply to several on this list.
• Are there any other schools that you suggest I should consider based on my profile?
Have you thought about Yale SOM and Cornell Johnson? Those both place many students into Strategy Consulting, have great international brand names and are a good match for your scores and experience.
• I haven't taken up any considerable ECA since my Undergrad. Will volunteering now make any difference?
Try to get involved in an event rather than just volunteering to put in hours, assuming you can find something that meets that criteria with the pandemic and all. That will look more like an accomplishment rather than a membership, which is really the key this late in the game. Perhaps you can find something over the summer or into the fall?
