Hi there,

Would love to know where I stand in terms of chances of getting in.

Age 29
GMAT 700 (44Q, 41V)
GMAT 680 (48Q, 35V)
White gay man in PNW

Experience:
Work in healthcare organization for 7ish years
2 years recruiting
5 years Lean/Operations consulting - lot of project management and facilitating teams via workshops. Primarily consult senior executives on strategic initiatives. Lead of 2+ years org wide initiative to incorporate DEI into operations.
4 promotions during 7 years
Won two prestigious organization awards
chair of LGBTQIA employee resource group since 2020

Education:
3.4 GPA in Social Sciences at T40 college
Graduated with Distinction
Award for service to college community (one senior male out of class)

Also completed CORe in 2018

Extracurriculars:
Leader of city-wide LGBTQIA committee advising city hall
tutor for elementary school kids
marathons

Goals: to move into strategic consulting in either public sector or healthcare. Long term goal of leading strategy efforts for social enterprise.

Schools: Darden, Duke, Tuck, Foster, Haas, Ross

I anticipate the GMAT is going to be hurdle so planning on retaking again to aim for 720/730.

for the given list of target schools , try 720+ so as to increase chances of interview..

Your GMAT score is okay. That you got a 700 is helpful. Yes, 20+ more points would be helpful but it's not incredibly critical. Our high-level assessment of your chances:

Reach: Duke, Tuck
Target: Haas, Darden, Ross
