Oxford - also on your list - feels reasonable but by no means a sure thing.

In our opinion, GMAT is a more reasonable indicator than the GPA because it's a standardized test. GPAs aren't as consistent given the differences that exist: nations, universities, schools within universities, majors, and courses within a given major.

Going on the information you have provided, ISB, HEC Paris and IE Spain are going to stretch schools.

The other programs are more attainable, so you should focus on those schools as far as outreach and time spent on the applications are concerned.

Your GMAT score for a male Indian candidate is one area that is dragging you down. You need to at least cross the 700-point threshold, if not score even higher to give yourself a shot given your competitive demographic. Given that you have a high Q score, if you can bump up the V score, that will help your overall score a lot!

Do you have any other extracurricular leadership, community involvement, awards/recognitions that you can share? Those will help beef up your profile. Right now, that area of your profile feels thin.

Let us know how else we can be of help.

Hi Admissionado,
Thanks for the detailed and timely feedback.
Regrading extra-curricular leadership, I was mentoring 2 of my juniors when working on the project for Formula Student India.
When I joined my company in 2018, I took part in 2 CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) programs to 1. assist the government construction workers level the road as it was becoming a traffic hazard 2. assist the teachers of a government school in teaching 5th standard children English. This would be a part of my community involvment.
Another point regarding progression in my work: I initially started working on a project which was relatively stable. Now I am working as the lead in the development phase of the project where there are a lot of changes happening on a daily basis. I have also mentored 3 people who recently joined the company I am working for right now.
Awards/Recognition: I have received an award for my excellent coordination during high number of software request tests. This was with respect to coordination among multiple teams. I have applied for a process innovation as the code that I have developed reduces total time taken by 85%. I am also working with other teams in my department to fix some of the drawbacks in my code.

Please let me know if you need more information.

This is all really great information. You will definitely want to find ways to incorporate all or as much as you can into your CV and application essays, where appropriate. Ultimately, though, it doesn't change my viewpoint on your overall chances at these schools. The GMAT is still a primary issue and one that is hard to overcome as it currently stands. Would you consider retaking the exam? If you could get those extra 20+ points, you can really boost your chances at those top schools!
