N.Y.U. Students Continue Occupation to Press Demands


Students who had barricaded themselves in a third-floor cafeteria vowed on to continue their occupation until they were able to present a list of demands to school administrators.

The N.Y.U. students created a Web site (takebacknyu.com) where they published their demands, including thorough annual reporting of the university’s operating budget, expenditures and endowment. They also want the university to provide 13 scholarships a year to students from the Gaza Strip and give surplus supplies to the Islamic University of Gaza.

The students also called on the school to allow graduate teaching assistants to unionize and to freeze tuition.

Oh wow.

So when he said he was writing his essays all day yesterday, he meant he was writing hate letter to NYU, and other propaganda related stuff......

This is quite a distance that Solaris is walking to get financial aid from NYU.....

One, they should be expelled and two they chose to give NYU their money in tuition. If they don't like the policy of a private university , then they should have went somewhere else.

Will NYU be that dumb and give into any of these demands? Once they do, every group and their mothers will protest everyday demanding things.

Seriously this is just Retarded. I almost can understand it if it is based on student privacy concerns or free speech, but to demand money and supplies?

Damn I want to just run up there and smack them all.
