Putting a CPA on the application form

Question

I have a CMA designation, which is similar to the CPA accounting designation in the US
As I go through the application form, I'm not quite sure where to put it... should it go into the graduate education section as a "diploma" degree or are there other spots specifically for this kind of stuff?

Any advice from CPA/other accounting designation holders would be appreciated!

CMA is a certification, but not a DIPLOMA.
So if the application form is asking for Diploma's and educational certification, I would think before putting CMA in there...

I can't remember every one of my applications from last year (I applied to like 7 in total.. :oops:

), but if my memory serves me correctly, I only had my CPA and other certifications mentioned on my resume. Otherwise, I didn't mention it anywhere else on the application form. I don't think it made much impact on my application whether I had CPA or not.

there may also be a section asking how you've demonstrated quantitative proficiency.....or maybe you belong to the local CMA society....

Put it on your Resume in one of two places, after your name, or in a certification section. I have a CPA, and it's not like it's chopped liver...it's three letters that say a lot about your dedication to your career and quant. ability. At the same time, once they see those three letters, they don't need to hear you talk about them...so just put em on the resume.
