PVUE Blocked. How to recover?

PVUE Blocked. How to recover? [#permalink] New post   02 Oct 2023, 07:59
While making payment, I accidently entered wrong date of expiry and my GMAT exam payment got declined. Now, my profile shows 'PVUE Blocked'. The terms and conditions state that fradulent debit card transactions will lead to permanent ban. I am highly concerned since it was a genuine mistake. How to remedy this situation?

I have personally never heard or come across such a ban... wait for 24 -48 hours and in the mean time try to reach out to customer care to better understand about the error.

Ugh... that's annoying and silly. You will have to reach out to customer care most likely. Waiting a day or two may also be a valid option but I would email them and wait a day or two anyway :angel:

P.S. Been a lot of test-prep fraud lately, esp with vouchers and giftcards. Seems they are reacting to that.

I have also raised a ticket through their customer service and it has been stated that they will reply back within 48 hours. Let's see. Any other options?

Hi. parth2910,

Did the hold go away?

Nope. However, they did reply back asking for my GMAT ID which I emailed them the same day. Haven't heard back since. This was on 4th October.

My account too got PVUE blocked when I tried multiple times to pay after failed transactions. This was yesterday. I’ve raised a ticket but no one has got back to me yet. Were you able to recover your account?
