I have taken the GMAT prep and scored a dismal 260. Iv'e gotten most of the Quant section incorrect and half of the Verbal section incorrect. I believe with time and dedication i can improve my Verbal score. My worry is math. I have no clue how to approach the math questions. Its not until i review the answer I understand. I'm looking for tips on how to start Quant math questions. I am in the process of doing a basic math review to help out.

You can alternately post your query at ask-gmat-experts-156/ so that GMAT experts can reply to your question.
To get the conversation started, we will need more information on what have you studied so far, how did you prepare for your latest GMAT attempt etc.
Many Test Takers find their first CAT to be difficult, so you shouldn't let this initial score upset you too much. You'll have to put in some significant study time, but you probably expected that (and most Test Takers spend 3 months or more on the study process). I'd like to know a bit more about your timeline and goals:
1) What is your goal score? 2) When do you plan to apply to Business School? 3) Do you know what Schools you plan to apply to?
