I want to apply for PGPEX course at IIM CALCUTTA. My profile is: 1. 10th Class- 71% 2. 12th Class- 68% 3. Graduation B. Sc. (Mathematics)- 45.40% 4. PGDBFM from NMIMS GLOBAL SCHOOL FOR CONTINUING EDUCATION. 5. 8 years of experience in a PSU Bank. Kindly advise if I can get admission in IIM CALCUTTA for PGPEX if I get a good score in GMAT. I very much confused.

Hi Debjyoti
Thanks for posting.
You can get in, but your academics in the past have been average (school) and quite low (B.Sc.). You should aim for a very strong score on the GMAT (720+) to compensate. If you can do that, you will have a chance with a strong application. You have 8 years of rich PSU Bank experience, and can leverage that. Remember, there are few candidates with your background, so you bring in some diversity to the school.
Hope this helps. Feel free to come back with more queries as needed.
