Hello,
I got 660 on my GMAT (Q50,V28,IR2,AWA4).
Here are few other details
1. 28, Male, India
2. Worked in a Digital Marketing Agency for more than 5 years
3. Completed my Bachelors in Information Technology with 8.33 CGPA from SVIT (Tier 2 college)
4. Nothing significant in terms of extra-curricular
While I am sure that I won't be able to get into top 30 US Business Schools, I have a question: Is it worth considering Universities that don't belong to Top 20 as far as US is concerned?
I am considering Canada (Queen's Ivey and Rotman), however I am not sure if this GMAT score would be enough. The deadline for Queen's and Ivey is 1st Sept, 2023 and 18th Sept, 2023 respectively. Not sure if 14-15 days would be enough to complete my application process (for Queen's) as I am yet to begin.
I wanted to get in touch with someone who can help me understand the geographical scenario as I plan to settle down post MBA in the country I decide to pursue my MBA. Post my research, I concluded that immigration is easier in Canada compared to US; however, should this be a major deciding factor in selecting a particular geography? If yes, what about Australia? What about EU?

I suggest GMAT retake.

Now, coming to geography!
Australia- Good option, also a common wealth country. MBA prestige will vary though. Canadian and NA universities usually rank high globally.
EU- Language issues (Post-brexit, even more) are commonly sighted as the most common. Yeah, I hear that the Universities are all in English but you're looking to stay so overall... you will have to learn the language at some point.
UK/Ireland- Work experience low to be qualified for most one year programs but still, I think possible
USA- H1B issue. Getting jobs after top MBA should be possible.
Canada- Salary will be slightly lower, making the ROI and standard of living questionable until you're out of debt and even then, very hard. But again, visa laws are lenient so you should definitely look at top schools.
660 may land you Schulich though, give it a shot.
