1. The ratio of the percentage produced by the lowest-producing team to the percentage produced by the next-highest producing team was__________.

A. 1 to 2
B. 6 to 7
C. 3 to 4
D. 6 to 9
E. 7 to 6

Percentage of lowest producing team = 12%
Percentage of next highest producing team = 14%

The ratio of the percentage produced by the lowest-producing team to the percentage produced by the next-highest producing team = 12/14 = 6/7

Answer is B

2. If Team Ginseng was re-formed 2.5 weeks into the competition, then Division B's rate of units produced per week was approximately___________of Division A's rate.

A. 42%
B. 60%
C. 140%
D. 167%
E. 230%

A did 42% of work in 2.5 weeks and B did 58% of work in the remaining 1.5 weeks.

Let the total production of the unit = 100
Team G made 25 in 4 weeks

A produced 42% of 25 units = 10.5 (in 2.5 weeks) => 4.2 in a week
B produced 58% of 25 units = 14.5 (in 1.5 weeks) => 9.66 units in a week

A's rate*X/100 = B's rate.
4.8X = 966.6
X = 201.38

Which is nearer to 230 than 167
Answer should be E

Why the next-highest producing team is Ruiz? I thought it should be Adron as shown below:
- Team Ginseng: 25% (Highest)
- Team Adron: 17% (Next-highest)
- Team Mercury: 16% (Tied with Hasaj)
- Team Hasaj: 16% (Tied with Mercury)
- Team Ruiz: 14% (Next-lowest)
- Team Faylur: 12% (Lowest)

It means next lowest, or one higher than the lowest producing. You are correct though, the way it's worded though it looks like it's asking for Adron rather than ruiz.
