Hi guys,
I have a question about the admission procedure for a Master's degree at Bocconi.
I am extremely interested in joining the Master of management of this school.
However, due to personal and professional reasons, I was only able to start my application a few weeks ago and therefore I have not yet taken the GMAT which is scheduled for next month. I will therefore be forced to take round 4 or 5 of admissions (On 5).
I am aware that this will have an impact on my chances of being admitted.
Because of the delay in response, I understand that if I apply in round 4, I will not be able to reapply in round 5.
So, I would like to know how the admissions process works at Bocconi in order to put all the chances on my side. I would imagine that there are fewer places in round 4 than in round 1.
However, my question is the following:
- do the chances of admission in each round depend on when the application is finalized? For example, if I send my application on April 19th (1 day before the deadline of the 4th round) would I have less chance to be admitted than if I had sent it at the very beginning of the 4th round?
In this case it would be more interesting to be the first to apply in round 5 rather than the last in round 5.
Finally, how many places are left in round 4 and 5 compared to the previous ones? Does the number of places go down according to the number of applicants admitted or does each round have a percentage of applicants admitted?
The answer to these questions would help me a lot to make choices in the coming weeks in order to have the chance to reach my goal which is to integrate this school.
Thank you very much
