Hi everybody. I will be taking the GMAT here in a couple of months. My school requires a 550 for the MAcc degree but I will need a little higher than that since my gpa is a little low.
After an hour or so of reading reviews, I have come to the conclusion that I will be getting these books:
kaplan gmat 2010 premier live online
kaplan gmat advanced 2009-2010 edition: intensive prep for top students
The Official Guide for GMAT Review, 12th Edition
the official guide for gmat quantitative review
My question is where should I begin? It has been a while since I have taken either a math class or english/grammar class.
I would like to start from the beginning and work my way from there. I have read that Baron's is pretty basic and a good place to start. Is this true, or is there another place I should look?

If your target is around 550-650 then the books you mentioned should suffice
Start with GMATPREP exam to see where you stand and the areas you need to concentrate on.
Then Kaplan 2010 live premier for all the strategies and formulas and work out the problems in the book.
OG 12 and OG quant review for practise
Take up the second GMATPREP to see where you are
If you need additional practise then work on Kaplan Advanced.
If you feel verbal is the problem then I would recommend MGMAT SC for SC and PowerScore CR for CR. These two sections can boost your score quite a bit in verbal.
Start with GMATPREP exam to see where you stand and the areas you need to concentrate on.

hey thanks.
I think i am going to start out with the math review for standardized tests for a few weeks to get a refresher and actually learn some geometry. I actually managed to avoid learning anything in that class in high school. Pythagor-what theorem?!
