Question: All of (we, us) boy scouts are going camping this weekend.
Answer given: "us"

Hi All,

Please help me with the above.

My questions: Why are we not using "we" here, since it seems like a subject pronoun and the plural form (as mentioned in the GmatClub Ultimate Grammar book - Page 62) is "we".

Please help me with the following:

Question: All of (we, us) boy scouts are going camping this weekend.
Answer given: "us"

My questions: Why are we not using "we" here, since it seems like a subject pronoun and the plural form (as mentioned in the GmatClub Ultimate Grammar book - Page 62) is "we".

"We" is subject whereas "us" is object. All of we boy scouts are going camping this weekend. just sounds horrible. "we" cannot be used as the object.

I'm not very sure but I think

Subject : All of us (The entire phrase is the subject)
Appositive: boy scouts
Verb : are going camping
Modifier: this weekend.

This is just my opinion. An expert's advice would throw better light.
