chetan2u Is it necessary to use comma before AND in the 2nd sentence? Is it grammatically correct?

hi
it is grammatically correct to use a 'comma' before and, when three or more items are joined...
if it is not used it could mean that the two items joined rae of the same category..
an example..
children are fond of playing games, eating chocolates and cakes, running and walking, and watching movies.

chetan2u any tips on how should I study Idioms?

Hi,
i can tell you there is a vast amount of 'idioms' out there, however the frequency of few is much more than others..
You can easily find a list of 'Idioms' on the net, but you have to do a lot of Q to get hang of these idioms..

After going through the list, just search for 'idioms' on this site itself and you will find lot of Q to practice..
All the best
