Questions in OG 2016 vs OG Quant review and OG Verbal review

Hi, Can some one help me know if the questions in OG 2016 are same as those in OG 2016 quant review and OG 2016 verbal review

They're different. The GMAC says that there could be some overlap with the GMATPrep software though. They're trying to reduce that as well.

The questions in OG2016, quant review and verbal review are all different. 
There are overlaps with the previous versions of the OG though.

I found that OG 16 Quant review and Verbal review have the same content as of OG 16. Is this true?

Since the GMAT is a consistent, predictable Exam, the content will essentially stay the same. However, when it comes to the practice questions in those books, the questions themselves will be different.

If you are talking about the Concepts and the theory, then yes they would be same.
However they would have different questions to practice from.

I have few more questions on the G-mat preparations. The more i start looking out the material for self study, many option are available. This is making me confused. Require your help so that i can be on the right track. Also i would like to know that all material need to be purchased or is it available online. Thanks in advance.

When it comes to studying for the GMAT, there are a variety of different options. Most GMAT Companies offer some type of free materials (practice problems, Trial Accounts, videos, etc.) that you can use to 'test out' a product before you buy it. We have a variety of those resources at our website (www.empowergmat.com). I suggest that you take advantage of all of them then choose the one that best matches your personality, timeline and budget.

You need to build the concepts/fundamentals before you jump in solving the problems. You can do so by choosing one of the following ways:

1. In person classes/private tutoring
2. Online classes
3. Self paced online preparatory course
4. Book heavy approach

Whatever you choose, make sure that you choose one. Because GMAT tests you on some concepts and fundamentals that you can learn from a course. Most of the preparatory companies including ours offer a free trial of our course. You can take the trial and see if the course suits your needs also, if you wish, you can opt for a free hour with our tutors too.
In addition to the preparatory material, buy the Official Guides(both the Official Guide and the Verbal Review), Question Pack 1 and the 4 official mock CATs. They should be an indispensable part of your preparation.

You need close to 3 months to prepare well for the GMAT.

1. Understand the concepts and fundamentals before jumping into problem solving
2. Solve full length CATs including AWA and IR. You can get two free GMAT Prep mock CATs and can purchase two more from mba.com
3. Make sure you solve the official questions from the Official Guide

I would recommend first to do the basics from any source. Once done with basics. practice on the OG.

Some recommend to take one GMATprep test in the beginning. so map what are your weak areas. and work on those. But i guess it depends on you.
