Patterns in Strengthen the Conclusion When the cause does not occur, the effect does not occurIf the argument attributes an effect to a cause, one way to strengthen this causal relationship is to provide evidence that when the cause does not occur, the effect does not (or is very unlikely to) occur. For instance, if the argument concludes that Cholera is caused by contaminated food, a correct option would provide evidence that no instances of Cholera have been reported among people who take care to consume only uncontaminated food.
