A question for kryzak: Would you consider Tepper to be a brand that is acceptable for a career changer? It's one of those schools in the trans-elite that overlaps with some of the elite schools. I guess I am in the cold feet part of the application process, and I am looking for a bit of reinforcement before forking over the cash.

jbguy, PM riv... oops, I mean, sure, I can try to answer that. :P

I think Tepper would be useful DEPENDING on what you're switching to. For IT and Tech industries, Tepper will probably be useful, since CMU is VERY famous for its CS and IT fields. I know a few people doing the online Tepper part time MBA here in my company and in the Bay Area who have used it to climb up the ranks in their tech companies.

Otherwise, it really depends on what you're looking to do.

Hi everyone!

I have a decision to make.

Fisher offered me 16k total, plus 25% off housing fees, if I go to their program

Should I take it, or wait a couple of years and try again with the top schools?

Your input will be most appreciated.
