Hello everyone
I applied to the following programs:
Wharton (dinged)
HBS
Kellogg
Fuqua
Anderson
Fisher
Krannert
What worries me is that, so far, I have not gotten any correspondence, e-mails, or phone calls from any of the programs, except Wharton which e-mailed me my ding.
I have not been asked to interview at any of the programs, except for Fuqua (Duke), which was optional and I chose to interview with an ex-alumni in Chile.
So, is this standard for prospective international students? Or, for that matter, prospective Latin-American students?
I know some programs let you interview over the phone, and others with ex-alumni that are in your country.
I am aware that the deadlines for notifications will not be reached in weeks, but I hear about other people getting interviews or getting dinged.
Also, if I do not get invited to interview, does that mean that my chances for acceptance are very slim, or virtually non-existent?
Furthermore, are e-mail notifications generally used just for dings?
I also would like to mention that I have checked all the apps to see if there is a change in status prior to writing this.
Thank you for your help, and I wish you all the best of luck in your applications and graduate studies.
Regards,
A first time applicant to MBA programs, who also happens to be from Chile
