There are many benefits to timing your practice, including:
Why their programs are not ranked because not that many students apply for their programs or their programs don't hold As much value compared to Stern.
Most publications rank top programs. For example, WSJ, Businessweek, and other well known publications only rank top 25, top 50 and don't publish the rest.
US News has more detailed ranking but one has to pay extra to get lower rankings.
The job placements for these schools is pretty bad. Fordham is the biggest name but only a little over a third of the class has a job at graduation. That number rises to 60% after 3 months which is still very low. The tuition and cost of living is also very expensive. I live in NYC and with no shot at CBS or Nyu applied to all Boston schools for job placement and networking. BC northeastern babson and Bentley all place over 90% within 6 months. The top top Fordham kids may get slightly better jobs but those odds are not worth it IMO.
