Attempt different level RCs through Forum Quiz. It is an excellent resource for practicing RCs.

For RC, consider also working on a method that promotes absorption. Perhaps working with a study buddy with strong verbal skills may be helpful too.

PS: I get confused between last two options or don't really understand some words in the option properly and end up marking the wrong answer

Please give me some advice as to how to improve on these?
Hi yaygmat.

I think if you practice at this post outlines, you'll get better results.

Hi yaygmat,

Many GMATers find some aspect of the Verbal section to be challenging - so you are not alone. The Verbal section is as consistent and predictable as the Quant section is, but Verbal questions have no 'safety net' - meaning that if you make a little mistake or miss a vital piece of information, then you will convince yourself that one of the wrong answers is correct (and not realize it). The issues that you are facing with RC might be impacting other aspects of how you handle the overall Exam, so before I can offer you the specific advice that you’re looking for, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

Studies:
1) How long have you studied? How many hours do you typically study each week?
2) What study materials have you used so far? What “brands” of CATs/mocks have you used?
3) On what dates (or approximate dates) did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?

Goals:
4) What is your overall goal score?
5) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?

Hey EMPOWERgmatRichC,
Thank you so much for taking out the time to help me out

I took a mock on the official website on Aug 3,2022 and scored 570

1. Quants was easy for me, scored 47, even though I had 2 questions and 5minutes left.(Due to some technical glitch, the quants section got over before time :? )
2. Verbal was a DISASTER, got a score of 23

It's been almost 10 days since then, I have been prepping diligently for Verbal.

1. I have gone through Manhattan RC and CR guide and I can see that I am improving. My timing is too bad though, on an average I end up consuming 4-5minutes on a RC/CR question. SC is fine for me, as I go through the rules, I kind of get it right 90% of the times.
2. I have also been doing questions from OG and Magoosh and I see that I am improving but I can never do it within time. Either I take 4-5 mins to get a correct answer or I end up marking wrong

Need some advice.. What would you suggest should be my preparation strategy?
I am planning to take my GMAT by Oct mid-end and I would really need a score of around 720 atleast :(
Does that seem possible or will it be way too hard to get to that? :?

PS: I am a working professional, I can squeeze out 6hrs a day on weekdays and I'd have entire Saturdays and Sundays :D
Planning to apply for ISB in R2

HELP PLEASE :please: :please:
