Dear All,
I need some guidance regarding my GMAT preparation. I have already given GMAT 4 times and have got the below scores:
1st Attempt – Oct’2016: 680 (Q-50, V-30),
2nd Attempt – Aug’2017: 670 (Q-49, V-33),
3rd Attempt – Aug’2017: 700 (Q-50, V-34)
4th Attempt – Dec’2017: 700 (Q-50, V-34)
Study Material Used-Theory:E GMAT Verbal complete course
Veritas Prep Free Online Video Course by Brian
Practice:OG 2016, Verbal Review -2 (twice)
Official GMAT Question Bank
Most of the Official Verbal questions present on forum
Mocks:Official GMAT Mocks 1- 6 (twice)
Veritas Prep – 6 Mock tests (twice)
MGMAT – 6 Mock tests (twice)
GMAT Club Quant tests 1- 20
As I am targeting top 20 colleges, I am planning to give GMAT again for the 5th time and hoping to reach 740 this time. Kindly suggest how I should proceed with my preparation.
Verbal has always been my weakness. After reading reviews on the forum I decided to join the
e-GMAT course but unfortunately that could only boost my score from 30 to 34. I believe I lack complete understanding of basics and to some extent implementation of the basics in Verbal.
For Quant I am planning to continue my preparation with GMAT Club questions only.
BY when should I target giving next GMAT so that I have sufficient time for R1 applications? (I can study for around 15-20 hours per week.)
As I have already exhausted most of the highest rated material on the forum, what are the Verbal courses I can look to enroll for?
What kind of course should I target – full time or just a crash course?
For test series, should I re solve the ones already done or should I enroll for new ones?
Will be great if someon can help me out. Thanks.
