Hi Experts, (GMATNinja, VeritasKarishma egmat @AndrewN)
What does reading structurally or reading for structure literally mean in GMAT RC?

Further, while reading a passage, I look for author's viewpoint or argument. And I give more attention to the transition words. But I could not articulate or put into words what the author's purpose is. Its tough.

Finally, what are the best resources, strategies and tips for tackling RC questions effectively. Because, most of the time, even if I comprehend the passage (Over 75%), I still miss the questions. I assume there might be separate specific strategies for attacking those questions.

Thank you!!
I don't know that you're looking for a four-hour answer to your questions, but here it is. I hope that helps a bit, or at least makes you realize that there are far more enjoyable ways to spend four hours. ;)

I have already watch those videos (I don't miss your any videos cause I am your huge fan) and they are awesome. But still, there is not consistency in understanding the passage. And my major concern is that I am not able to get the purpose and put in the words. I understand completely (except some highly complex language) what is written in a paragraph, but not able to write why the author has written that paragraph.

For example: Purpose: To describe a phenomena; To Analyze a theory; To differentiate different viewpoints.. Something like these. I can't do this after reading a paragraph or a passage. How can I master this?

Thank you.

I usually teach a method to students that emphasizes absorption. Here's a recent student debrief (V31 to V40) who particularly enjoyed the RC part of that Solving Approach package: gmat-online-enhanced-from-680-to-368599.html

There may be some insight there that is helpful.

All the best
