Hi aspire,

What can you tell me about the situation under which you took the prep test? A large dip in scores can be a result of practice tests not quite perfectly capturing the essence of the GMAT, or a result of simple bad luck as you face a disproportionate number of problems that hit weak points and formulas you don't know. But in my experience, when a student does much worse on a test than he or she has in the past, the cause is almost always some combination of stress, illness, and exhaustion.

Did you take the official test at the same time of day as the other tests? Same location? Same computer? Try to think of any outside factors that differed between the PrepTest and the MGMAT tests that could have possibly affected your score.
