Hello,
Apatel91. Apart from COVID-19 changes to the
interim GMAT™, which does
not have an AWA section, I am unaware of any other changes. In fact, mba.com says that
This interim GMAT exam will provide a comparable structure, number of items, and scoring as delivered in test centers. In terms of question-type breakdowns per section, based on my own research and other resources I have checked against online (including
Magoosh and Kaplan), you can expect the following within each section:
Quant: 16-17 Problem Solving questions, 14-15 Data Sufficiency questions
Verbal: 12-14 Reading Comprehension questions, 9-10 Critical Reasoning questions, 13-14 Sentence Correction questions
If you want to delve deeper into the
content of those questions, then you can find approximations through various sources, such as
this one from
Magoosh for Quant. Personally, I would rather just study theory for the topics covered in general than to obsess over the probability of getting, say, a Powers & Roots question or a Functions question.
I hope that helps. If you have further questions, feel free to ask. Good luck with your studies.
