I am at a stage where i am scoring higher 500s.
Maths ranges from 40 to 44 max
verbal ranges from 24 to 29 max..
which strategies shall I apply so that my score can go to higher 600s.Please do help me out...

Hi!
The key to improving the score is to recognize your weaknesses and then addressing those areas. A very effective way to do that is to maintain an error log. An error log will shed light on your pitfalls. After that, you can use the resources at your disposal to strengthen the weak areas.

Hi!
The key to improving the score is to recognize your weaknesses and then addressing those areas. A very effective way to do that is to maintain an error log. An error log will shed light on your pitfalls. After that, you can use the resources at your disposal to strengthen the weak areas.

hello amrith,
I am weak at CR and Rc...These are the areas where the score varies...I am not consistent here...any strategies or tips on how I can improve it.

For CR, I would highly recommend you refer to Powerscore GMAT CR Bible. It has effective strategies which will definitely help you do better :)

Yes i have started doing that...Can you please let me know that just this book is enough...any good material for practice of CR questions bec there are nt much practice material in Powerscore

I'm quoting a part of my debrief. Powerscore CR Bible and GMAT OG is enough to improve CR to +700 level if used properly. It's not the number of questions that you do but what you learn from each question that you do :)

Keep repeating the procedure for every question you do till you reach the point where you can start solving questions without having to refer back to the text. If everything goes as per plan, you should get there by question number 60 to 70 in the OG. From there on, do the remaining questions under timed conditions. I assure you, by the time you finish with the CR questions in the official guide, you will be able to breeze through the 500, 600 and possibly the lower 700 level questions in the actual GMAT :D
