@mani51089 I'm glad you're asking these questions because they really are important and not often discussed.
In fact you've given me a great idea for a blog post.
Yes it would have a negative impact if they greater you in the top box for every attribute.
That does not look sincere. You want to show that they put it some thought.
So it is best for them to mix it up a little I recommend two categories where they give you a 4.
I also really recommend that they fill out the optional part, you really want them to substantiate their decisions. To talk a little bit about why you merit the high ranking.
If they are truly wildly enthusiastic about your performance, then it would make sense that they would want to talk about you.
I recommend working with an admissions consultant reviewing recommendations and even the grid part because those open letter responses really need to match the tone of the overall letter.
