Hi,

I have two things to add here:
1. You can reach out to admissions team explaining your issue and hope that things your way. However, the chances of that being allowed is low as applications are not carried over and it's always a fresh application process every year.
2. Even if the school agrees to your demand, I will still recommend you submit a recent LOR highlighting your development.

Best of luck for your application.

Hello there,

Question: During last year’s application cycle, my recommenders submitted recommendation letters for schools. However, due to personal reasons, I was unable to complete the application process. As I am now preparing for Round 1 this year, I would like to know if those previously submitted recommendations are saved in the school’s system, or if I need to find new recommenders. Can I have my recommenders submit the letters again in the current application cycle?

Thank you.

Hi shyoo86,

Thanks for writing in.

To be on the safe side, you must definitely submit updated recommendations that also cover your achievements from the last year or so. So, you needn't find new recommenders but you must provide updated recommendations.

All the best!
