I took the first online CAT test of Manhattan GMAT approx a week ago. Impressed by the quality of questions, I bought a Manhattan book so that I could take the other CAT tests. Unfortunately, I registered this book through a different id this time and had to take the first test again. To save my time, I just skipped the test by randomly selecting the choices in the IR and quant sections, and I skipped the verbal section altogether. While taking my CAT2, I realized that some questions were familiar. Later when I analysed my test, I found that there were 1 SC and 5 CR questions that came directly from my first CAT that I took from the different login id. I fear that I will find familiar questions in other CATs as well. My GMAT is due next week. I am in a fix. What should I do.

Since you repeated your CAT, some of the questions may be similar.
However, as you say , you skipped most of the test; this should be the reason why you got most questions repeat.
As you start to take your test seriously, you will see more of higher difficulty questions and less of lower difficulity level, which you may have seen earlier.
So the only thing you should do now is start taking your tests seriously !!

I took the first MGMAT CAT (which is free) through one login id and registered my book from another login id. I was under impression that 1st MGMAT CAT would be same for all test takers, and so I skipped my first MGMAT test through this new login id (as I had already taken the first MGMAT CAT previously). The problem arose when I saw questions of first MGMAT CAT (I remembered those questions from the first MGMAT CAT that I took from the previous login id) while taking the second CAT.
The Free CAT should have the fixed questions, but I am afraid it is not so. I might see more familiar questions if questions of all the CATs, including the free one, are drawn from a single pool. My score will not be genuine and hence the purpose of taking the tests will be defeated.
I hope some MGMAT personnel are listening. Please suggest if there is any way out for me.
