Yesterday was a very peculiar day. I got a rejection email from ISB's YLP Adcom. This was just stage one. I had been rejected last year as well. So now I want to decide if I should apply for EEO option in the coming month or not. I am fairly confident that the only thing hindering my application is my grades. 10th - 9.8 CGPA, 12th - 89.4%, Graduation is 7.8 in 1st year followed by a dip in 2nd and 3rd year - 6.9 and 6.8 respectively. Though by the end of 4th year I am fairly certain I'll land at 7.25 as my final CGPA. Being rejected in stage 1 itself didn't feel good at all because I see all my friends get in. I am no one to judge but am fairly certain that my overall profile was no less if not tad bit better than some others given I had a lot of stuff to talk about apart from academics. ( I also took professional help for the essay this time around )
So anyway, I just wanted some honest opinions if I should try the EEO option given that it is also academically oriented.

EEO is Early Entry Option, it's another deferred program for the admission into ISB's PGP program. You are eligible for it if you have a work-ex of fewer than 24 months.
