Hi,
I would like a profile evaluation and a list of schools I should consider applying to in Round 1 for 2016 fall admission.
GMAT - 720, Q-51, V-35, IR-8, AWA-5.5
I have attached my resume here.
Target Schools : Top 20.
I am also considering retaking the GMAT. Is that a good strategy or should I work on other things to increase my credibility? For e.g: Join a family business to scale up or increase the revenue.

Hey Anant,
I think you have a good profile and definitely a strong applicant.
I would say perfect in terms of work experience, GMAT and other stuff.
My suggestion would be to work on your profile instead of considering GMAT again.
720 is good enough and making it 730 or 740 won't create such a big difference.
Also, its great that you are planning ahead and applying in Round 1 for the schools.
I would suggest to start preparing and research about schools and align the schools based on your career motivations.
Another piece of advice would be expand your profile in different directions, as you have mentioned about music enthusiast and community service stuff, it would be good if you can elaborate and expand stuff around that.
Acads and WE wise, you seem to be fine and also there is nothing you can do to expand that part.
Focus on your goals and think about post MBA career plan.

Hi Anant,
I agree that you do not need to retake the GMAT unless you are solely applying to the top 5-7 b-schools only. 720 is pretty decent.
Having a multifaceted personality is always a plus. However its going to be hard to comment upon "joining a family business" etc. without knowing more about you. Feel free to set up a call with us for a deeper discussion.
