Hi team

Below are my profile details:

Indian female, 3+ years of work exp (as on date) -- 1 yr in market research and consulting, 2 years in a top 3 e-commerce company in India (process excellence/strategy role in supply chain), top performer
UG from IIT, GPA 7.1/10
GMAT: 750 (Q49/V42)

I want to preferably work in Strategy/process optimization OR consulting

Do I have a chance with Harvard, Stanford, Wharton? What other school would be a good fit for me?

However it is not enough formation for me to understand if you can get into H/S/W
I’d love to help you out but without more info it’s gonna be hard. Where do you work? What do you do? How quickly have you advanced? Do you have any leadership? What are your great achievements? Do you have notable community service or extra curriculars?

All of these will play important roles in your evaluation.

Let me try and give you as much information as I can over this forum :)

1. Where do you work? -- Top ecommerce firm in India (one of amazon, flipkart, snapdeal)
2. What do you do? Worked on several projects -- process excellence in customer exp; followed by process redesign of courier ops in supply chain; currently in planning function 9supply chain) led the planning of the major annual sale in India, top performer in the company
3. How quickly have you advanced? 3 promotions in 1.5 years
4. Do you have any leadership? while I've had complete ownership and decision making freedom, I haven't led a team as such
5. What are your great achievements? tough to say, i would draw something from my exp at this firm
6. Do you have notable community service or extra curriculars? No community service. Extra curricular nothing outstanding -- basic stuff from college (organized an event in the college fest), I paint and sell my paintings as a hobby apart from work currently; I'm passionate about travel and adventure, have travelled all over India and trekked in the Himalayas extensively

Well my take is that you can always try and wow them with your story. :)

Essentially I'm not sure that your work Experience will be considered strong and that + your tough applicant pool might make H/S/W tough. But anyhow, maybe a strategy in the Top 15 or so schools, and sure add H/S/W as stretch schools to your application strategy.

I'll tell you even now that a lot will ride on the stories you will tell. So make them rock!
