Hello everyone,
I would like to have an honest opinion of my profile and would like to know my chances in different B-schools.
I gave my GMAT exam today. Below is my unofficial report.
IR: 7, 81 Percentile
Q: 48, 67 Percentile
V: 35, 76 Percentile
AWS: Awaiting
Overall: 680, 82 Percentile
I'm a 27-year-old, Male, Indian.
My college CGPA is 7.4/10
Working professional. 4 years completed.
Currently employed at IBM India Pvt Ltd. as a software engineer.
I want to do MBA in Finance and I have my reasons for that. I can share them.
The project I'm working on is Financial Crimes Insights.
Mostly looking for Canadian colleges.
My top 3 preferences: Rotman, McGill and Ivey. I'm open to Schulich and Smith as well. A major factor: Residency.
My other preferences are NTU/NUS and few European colleges such as Alliance, Manchester.
Co-curricular: I have been an active participant in sports. I have winner medals + certificates to show for it. Few participation certificates as well.
I have received "Outstanding Technical Achiever Award" in office for my contributions.
I have contributed to "Each One, Teach One" NGO Program.
In my 4 years at IBM, I have been promoted 4 times.
Is my GMAT score enough for these colleges? Is it possible these B-schools will consider my application?
I'm ready to share more details if required.
Waiting for few responses.
Regards
Sarthak Ghosh
