Looking for suggestions on whether I have a shot at ISB
Academic - 9/9/9 Undergrad from a Tier 2 Institute.
Work Experience - Software Developer, Would be around 4 years at a Fintech at the time of applying with one promotion. Two-Three works awards. Conducted a training session for 100+ fresh graduates. Also got the oppurtunity to work internationally at a client site for around 2 months.
GMAT - Expecting around 715 in GMAT Focus
Extracurricular - Having been playing the flute for a couple of years, Volunteering+ An award for volunteering, was actively involved in clubs back in college conducted events - won an award for an event too.
Also a Post Graduate diploma ODL in Marketing management from IGNOU and UI UX Google professional certification, have played a bit around UI UX creating wireframes and have a portfolio up.
Goals - To transition into Product Management.
Expecting a Strong recommendation from a Senior Product Manager.

Hey! In stratight words - you definitely have a shot at ISB. Your acads are good and put you in a good spot, and if you score 715 (even 705 is excellent) on GMAT Focus then it will icing on the cake
. Now software engineers are in an overrepresented pool, but your Fintech domain will certainly help (considering the upcoming opportunities in this domain). Work awards are fine, but your leadership initiative and international experience will certainly come in handy. Coming to extracurriculars, flute experience is going to be unique and you MUST use it to your advantage. Along with this, you will have to club your SE experience with UI/UX work and build a strong story which will help you transition into product management. Also, since you are keen on Product Management, you can look at IIMB (a lot of great roles for mid to senior level PMs are offered during campus placements).Now all of this is great, but you will have to articulate it well in your essays and interviews. Your goals are clear but you will have to think why a direct transition to PM isn't possible (without MBA) and how MBA will help you in achieving your goals and how ISB (or whatever college you are applying to) will help you get a PM role. This is where a lot of candidates miss out on admits.
I am hoping that the Senior Product Manager is well verse with your work accomplishments and can talk about it confidently in your LOR. Just wanted to highlight that LORs are increasingly becoming important for all the B-Schools.

You have a strong and well-rounded profile. Focus on achieving a competitive GMAT score, and clearly articulating your goals. Given your profile, you stand a good chance at ISB, but make sure to present your story compellingly.
