I am taking the opportunity to explain this question for people who are having trouble solving.
This is indeed a hard sentence to comprehend.
The meaning clarity for such questions is PARAMOUNT.
Researchers have updated their forecasts of the impact of melting ice sheets on the planet, - The first line provides information about an action performed by researchers.
predicting that by 2100, - The effect/outcome of the forecast is stated by using verb+ing.
Kindly note that the author does not perform two different actions, hence the use of VERB+ING and not AND HAVE PREDICTED.
the shrinking Antarctic and Greenland ice sheets will raise sea levels by nearly 10 inches, - The author states the prediction.
which is an influx of water critically disrupting the ocean currents vital to our weather. - The author explains the after effect of the prediction once it will come true.
GRAMMATICAL ERROR
planet, predicting that by 2100, the shrinking Antarctic and Greenland ice sheets will raise sea levels by nearly 10 inches, which is an influx of water critically disrupting
The pronoun WHICH can only refer to a preceding noun and not a clause.
Sea Level is not an influx of water here.
The whole shrinking of ice sheets will raise the sea level and this will cause the influx of water.
ANSWER CHOICE ANALYSIS
A: As described above
B: have updated and have predicted.... TWO ACTIONS - Distorts the meaning as per original
C: have updated and predict... TWO ACTIONS (not even parallel) - Distorts the meaning as per original

Usage of future perfect tense - will have raised is correct as to present the sequencing that sea level will rise first and then the year 2100 will come.
E: Passive voice and incorrect use of WILL RAISE instead of WILL HAVE RISEN.
Sea Levels is the OBJECT. They will be raised. They will not raise anything. Clear meaning distortion. The use of semicolon to create two different sentences (not the original intent).

I think this now I understand what Charles GMATNinja use to say on his webinars, first remove sure shot wrong options and then go for "common sense". D and E are left and E gives the meaning that sea levels will raise by shrinking the ice sheets but actually the reverse is happening and is mentioned in D.
