Hello everyone,
I am here because I have a few questions for some talented and experienced people like you.
Background story :
- 25 years old white male.
- Master 1 degree in applied mathematics in a small university (Nice Sophia antipolis university for those who may know) with low grades exept in mathematical subject which I aced (statistics, econometrics, mathematics)
- The reason why I had bad grades is simple : I had a burnout during my education.
- 2 years within the entrepreneurs experience in which I decided so sell vegetables online but unfortunately bad freelancers made the project go slower without any much results
The situation :
- continue my licence in physics and work on the side to get in two years into a new university which means I'll be 28 when graduated with Master's degree : I want to do a computer science, mathematical finance, mechanical engineer or physics degree (the two first ones are ok with my current experience and diploma, the two others are realllyyyyyyy far away from my experience)
- start a msc or master's degree in finance, study for one or two more years and then work.
The objective :
I have some few business ideas I wanna start, some business I want to set up but it takes some money so I planned to move in the US. The matter is : how am i supposed to do it? is there some entrepreneurs among you who did the same as I want to?
PS : I wanted to know If i could get a good score at the gmat test, because If I prepare it, I expect to have a score between : 690-770.
If I take a test now, will I have an idea about my progression and the final score I can have?

If you want to start your own business, consider two things:
1. Ask yourself if you want to do it for 10 years. If the answer is no, don't do it. Get a degree and work instead. There's almost no point in pursuing a business just for a year or two. Trust me on this one. I speak from experience.
2. If answer to (1) is a resounding yes (you are sure you want to do it for 5-10 years), is your business idea related to the MS in Fin/Eng/Math/CS degree? If not, don't do the degree. If yes, do it.
It's OK to be 28 when you finish a Master's. Don't worry about that. If you spend 2 years, say, finding out what you really want to do, in a 30 year long (and happy) career, you'll do as well as the next guy who started at 22.
