Online Community,
I have a question about resumes. I'm interviewing at Emory this Saturday, and all they're asking for is a resume before the interview, par for the course I believe.
Anyways, it's been a while since I updated, so I have a few questions:
1. Length -- ever since college, I've had the impression that my resume should be confined to one page. It was explained to me, at said university, that anything more than that is superfluous (you don't really have a CV). However, at this point, I've worked for four different companies and within those employers several different jobs. Even if I condense it to three lines per employer, it goes over the page limit. I know brevity and readability is important, but I don't want to sacrifice content. The bottom line is that I am not "fresh out of college" any more, and I just can't fit all the relevant information on to one page, even when I take a spartan approach. Suggestions?
2, Content -- I have work experience, education, professional training, and community activities. Add/subtract?
You guys are awesome, thanks.
