Hello,

I submitted my applications for Cornell and Duke for R2. After submitting I realized I made an error on my resume. For my current role, I indicated I started on Dec 2016 when it actually should be July 2016. In the rest of my application, I correctly stated that I started working full time in July 2016. Do you think I should contact Cornell and Duke?

Hey tbztbz ,

I would prefer to send them an email and ask for replacement. There could be a big issue during the employment verification process, if you get selected.

You could send them an email with an updated Resume and clarify the issue.

If you don't receive a response, do try calling them up, as well.

tbztbz When you submitted the application, one admission committee member is assigned to you. you can contact him directly and let him know this. Adcom will surely help. they do understand that mistake happens.
