I'm down for McSorley's early evening Friday, jb32. I'll PM you my e-mail.

jb32
Ok, I'll be in NYC Friday with no set plans. I'm up for anything. PM me if you'd like to meet up.

P.S. We'll still try to do a meetup on the 16th, folks. I start a roll call in another few days. That place Leverandon suggested sounds cool.

Oh man, McSorley's is great. Unfortunatly I won't get back to NYC until Saturday morning. You guys have fun, though and I'm definitely looking forward to Arlo & Esme on the 16th.

Alright, bumping this thread for a roll call. As things stand, we're meeting up at Arlo & Esme on 42 E. 1st St. (not far from the F,V LES station) on the evening of the 16th. Should we shoot for 6:00-6:30pm?

Add your name below if you will/might possibly attend. Come on folks, here's your chance to network with your local GCers before we all end up at some really good schools across the country.

Arlo & Esme is definitely a non-shady bar and in my opinion well worth the trip to the East Village. In general, I don't find the East Village shady. Alphabet City to the east of it can be a bit sketch on certain alleyways at certain times past midnight but, from what I understand, even that area is pretty well gentrified compared to just ten to fifteen years ago.

Now, how are we gonna recognize each other?

I am not gonna go up to the bartender and shout out, "Solaris1? Solaris1? NJMike4 MBA? Fresinha12?"

I don't want to be stared at.....although I sure do like the attention.

Solaris1, will you do us a favor and hold a red rose or something? So we can find you and use you as a meetup point? :-D

We'll figure this out once we get there. Terp26 has a GMATClub flyer or something, terp26 you're coming too, right? If nothing else, we all know what Leverandon looks like. :P
