Hello Everyone,

I took the GMAT in July and scored a disappointing 560, obviously this score was not decent enough for my target schools hence I cancelled this score.I have started preparing again for the GMAT however I am not sure as to when I should re-write my exam.

I am staying in a city where the entire calendar for November is already booked and I might have to go different cities in different states to write the exam. Now the confusion here is that City 'A' has a few dates available before the 15th November(11th, 13th, 14th) which gives me approximately month and half's time to prepare and then there is city 'B' which has dates available towards the end of November(27th , 28th , 29th ) which give me almost 2 months time of Preparation.

Can you guys suggest which would be a better date to get done with the exam and still have time to prepare for the applications and essays and manage to submit them in round 2

PS. I am aiming for Canadian Business schools which mostly have round 2 deadlines in January.

Would appreciate your suggestions.

Thanks in Advance.

Hi Amerendra,

Before I can offer you the specific advice that you’re looking for, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

1) How long have you studied overall?
2) What study materials have you used so far?
3) How have you scored on each of your CATs (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for each)?
4) What were your Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores on the Official GMAT?
5) What is your goal score?
