I am admitted to the Business School. I heard that Revera would contact the HR Department. Does anyone know that will they check the salaries and ask for official documents? Since I used to work an unpaid and unofficial part-time job with one business broker, and he asked me to work within the internship program he personally organized. He worked for a large Realty company himself, and he told me that I could write down that company title on my resume. But he was the only person that supervised my work, and I believe it didn't go through any official hiring process of that Realty company. However, I indeed work for him for over 6 months and wrote it in my work experience part of the application. There was no place in the application form that I can indicate it's an unofficial internship, and I just left the salary part in the application empty. Although that business broker has the official company email address and could prove my work if Revera calls, I'm worrying that will they only contact him? Will they ask for any official documents and regard it as an illegal job? Should I just not accept this offer because of these concerns? Thanks so much!!

The verification process will not ask for salary usually. Usually salary is the information that is not disclosed in my experience.
Revera we were tempted to verify all of your work history and background information by contacting the standard channels. They may reach back out to you if they’re not able to establish some of the information. That part is optional and sometimes they may provide their details to school which then can make a decision if they want to ask for more details and the information. It is rare for anyone to fail a background verification. It has to be a substantial omission or inflation to fail the process.
I would probably not decline admission just based on this 😎

Thanks so much for your reply!!!! Regarding the "Standard channels" you mentioned, do you mean the contact information I provided on the application form? Since I was actually doing an unofficial job and working in the Broker's personal internship program, so I only got that one supervisor's contact information. If they want to directly call the Realty company and dig into the official hr system, will that be problematic when they find out that it's actually not official recruitment? Since I'm using the company title of that big Realty firm in my resume, will they think that's an exaggeration? Thanks so much!!!!
