I took the GMAT today. The results are bittersweet: 730 (48Q/41V)
While I acheived my initial target, the final score is a bit of a bummer considering the scores I was hitting on recent practice tests.
Anyone think I should try a retake?
Well.... If your profile is good and you can get strong recommendations, a score of 730 is good enough.
In my case, I just have two years of work ex

and the average work ex for the top B-schools is around 4 years. So in order to cover up for the lack of work ex, I have to get a commanding GMAT score. That's the only reason why I am planning to retake the GMAT (I got a score of 710 - Q:48 and V:40)
If you have no such problems, you don't have to take the test again
