They are very vague on what to submit for an update. For example does enrolling in mbamath.com and showing intent to enroll in a community college stats/calc course warrant an update? I know my quant is weak so I want to show my willingness to build a better base. Also does anyone know their view on letters of encouragement? If they are a positive would a member of the larger Univeristy faculty be appropriate or only a Ross faculty member? Posted from my mobile device

Are waitlists approved/denied continuously or will the R2 waitlisters find out May 15? (R3 decision date)

My understanding is there will be a review of the waitlist application with some waitlisted people being admitted around the May 15th deadline. From that point on, it become continuous, meaning you could hear at any given time. However, if I remember the Waitlist FAQ correctly, the bulk of waitlist decisions will occur in May and June. I was waitlisted round 2 for the consortium. Has anyone heard or know of any strategies to get off the waitlist? I submitted the 300 word mini essay, but has anyone found any other successful options?

I don't think there's much else we can do at this point but to wait to see what happens in a few weeks. Best of luck to all of us!

Soojin's blog said that there will be calls made on May 15. I think some will be to R3 applicants and some will be to WLed folks. I am guessing there will only be a *few* of each since Michigan is retaining admitted candidates at a higher rate this year than last year according to the blog post. My guess is that on May 15 Ross will also cut a large chunk of the WL loose to (mercifully) not keep WLed people waiting all summer when they have no chance at an offer. I am guessing a few WLed people will be retained to fill the odd spots that'll open up in June/July/August. That is my *guess*. I have the impression that the WL at Ross is very large... As was said before...GL to us all!!
