@MBAFuture, it is the best suggestion to you that no institute will give you the X-Factor tips what you have to gather by yourself. You can ask to any of the trader working in NYC...they will suggest you to get the special coaching from the cases directly from the traders. So, what will be your selection for the purpose hitting your goal, it is an add on that will be giving you a better mileage in the future. Mindspireacademic

S&T doesn't really recruit from MBA programs - they do from MSF or other quant masters programs. I'd do standard IB recruiting and keep an open mind.

Ross and Fuqua are generally pretty comparable. I think any advantage that one school has over the other would be fairly small. Did you have a chance to visit both schools?

I looked at the employment reports of both schools, and Ross seems to have more students hired by MBB while both schools were roughly equal in the number of students going into ibanking. Also, the number of students listed in the employment reports does not tally to the total number of students in each school's class. This would be due to some students going the non-traditional routes and who were still waiting for job offers by the time these reports were prepared, and surely there is some self-selection on the school's part.

For Sales and Trading, banks do not hire at all from business school? I know that they lean more towards MSc in Finance programs but I would guess that at least schools like Columbia, Wharton, Booth, and NYU should have sales & trading positions posted?

I visited Ross but not did not get the chance to visit Duke Fuqua. Aside from location, the people in the class, and the weather, I am trying to make my decision based on the school that gives me the highest chances of landing a job in ibanking/sales & trading (provided that I work really hard to promote my candidacy for these jobs).

Thanks for your comments guys. It seems as if these two schools are indeed very similar, each school has its advantages.
