Thanks a lot Nikhil & Tyildrim

Now I will be able to apply without any eligibility worries ( i will have 2 years at the time of matriculation 🤞)

I advise you still drop an email to the admissions committee to absolutely make sure 😀
I would sincerely advice otherwise.

The Adcom at Rotman has a very low tolerance for emails. I was told that they'll cancel my admission 4 times, when I had the admit in the program. That too just for mailing.

That is very odd! :D Maybe you just got a bad apple, I don't know. I am sure they will get a lot of emails but just because of that would they go as far as cancelling an admission? :dazed

Dude, is this like for real? I mean come on, at times international students like me have to mail them back and forth on decision/doubts atleast two to three times. But cancelling admit is just too far.

Yeah, well what can we do about it!
We're all just numbers for them.
I even took screenshots Back then and shared with my class.

It's (adcom not students) more like a place (as per me) that is more into, "if it ain't broke" mentality.

The students are very proactive though.

Also, much like all other schools there's Application literally for everything. At Rotman, you'll only get curriculum, clubs and career prep. Every program let's say for instance, CDL is completely Application based, so goes for most other things.

I know that Business schools brag about the opportunity costs and stuff so it's best if you factor these things in because more likely the acceptance rate is not any higher for Rotman grads.

It's a tough sell but I'm just trying to be honest and objective.

Also, Indian men need to score a bit high (comparitively) on GMAT. There's literally a "Coming from India, welcome" page that states a few others facts for Indians.

Don't eliminate Rotman out because of what I said.

It's about you being able to leverage the opportunity. Because what is the use of a piece of paper (degree) if you never are able/ not given the opportunity to use it right.

The case is with most schools. But if you need an honest opinion, I'm always there to answer the difficult questions.

Any inputs for reapplicants for Rotman? What is the requirement? How do they see reapplicants?

Thanks!

Tagging ARINGO to see if they have any suggestions for Rotman reapplicants

Hi onit, Shimri from ARINGO here.
Like most other top MBA programs, Rotman does consider reapplicants.
The first thing they will look for is "what has changed since the last time you applied"
For example:
- Did you improve your GMAT?
- Have you gained significant business knowledge?
- Have you been promoted at work / Do you have more responsibilities?
- Have you changed / increased any extracurricular activities
- etc.
if the answer is "no to all" your reapplication chances are low. but, if you managed to improve your weakspots, you will be reconsidered

GOOD LUCK!

Thank you Shimri. How can I get in touch with you. Please DM me the relevant link to fix and appointment. I couldn’t find a contact for you on the ARINGO website.
