Wanted to know that the 2 years of work experience requirement for the full time MBA ( they made it a requirement this year) is at the time of matriculation or at the time of application?
P. S - The application doesn’t mention anything and when we fill up the application it asks for work ex years up till matriculation
Hey Rockstar20, Not sure here specifically for Rotman as you said that they dint mention any number, but usually most b schools when they say Work Experience, it means the work experience you have at the time of applying and not at time of matriculation

Just want to confirm because they are asking work ex up till matriculation in their application
Hmm, I am not exactly sure maybe somebody else can answer this. I dont want to spread misinformation so, I cant confirm. I see some other thread is also open with same question with no answer, maybe try contacting Rotman Advisors from their site. If you are worried Maybe email them with secondary email.I am sure Admissions people would reply you within 2 days. They are very particular resolving queries related to Admissions

I tried contacting them but didn’t get a reply. Please see if you can contact them and ask on my behalf
Its weird they would usually reply. But I guess at times these things happen, I saw in main thread i.e., 2023 class thread, few people dint even get news of whether they were accepted or denied even after weeks after interview. Maybe instead of me trying and waitijg and all , lets ask admitted students, like tyildirim92
I am telling this from a time when I was admitted- 1. You experience upon matriculation has to be 2 years.
2. You chances of admissions depend on the target industry as well. If your target company, does recruit with less than 3 years of work experience, you won't face any challenges to persuade the adcom.
Thanks for commenting. Do you know if the 2 year work experience is at the time of joining the school or at the time of applying?
More specifically can an applicant with 1 year of experience apply given that they will have 2 years of experience by the time he/she joins the school? 😀

Haha, this was the most important part of the question and I missed it. 😁 It's at the time of the start of the MBA program.
