Hi Everyone,

We are heading towards R1 decision period. LBS and ISB released their results yesterday. INSEAD results are currently in progress. From Dec 5th onward, American programs will start releasing R1 decisions.

Waiting for the decision is often painful so to help alleviate your anxiety a bit, we present here estimated decision timelines of top schools. Note that this is just our speculation, based on the trends observed in last few years. We don't claim that schools will follow the same pattern/schedule.

Chat Rooms: We have also assigned chat rooms for every school so that applicants can stay in touch and exchange information/update during decision period. All chat rooms are equipped with decision tracker so that decision updates can be seen in the chat room itself.

  • Decision Deadline: Last week of Nov.
  • Estimated Decision Release Date/Time: Admission decisions are expected in next few days, most probably on Nov 24th or 26th going by prior trends.

Thanks! Still behaving weirdly for me, now many are directing to UNC Kenan-Flagler. Not sure why. Is there another way to navigate to these chatrooms so I can get into the rooms for the schools I've applied to?

From a Ross Admissions email on December 8:

Admitted: If you're admitted, we'll try our best to reach you by phone. The Admissions team will be calling admits located in the U.S. on Monday, December 17 and admits living in international locations on Tuesday, December 18. There's no special order to the calls, other than trying to accommodate several different time zones so we're not calling you at 6AM. Look for a phone call from area code "734!"



Waitlist offer: If you're waitlisted, we'll ask you to confirm your acceptance of our waitlist offer by January 7, 2019. We accept new test scores at any time. Just email the unofficial score report to [email protected]. Waitlist candidates will be re-evaluated with the Round 2 applicant pool. Round 2 decisions are released on March 15, 2019. Please note, if you remain on the waitlist at the conclusion of Round 2, there will be no update in Wolverine Access.



Denied: There are many reasons for not being admitted, many of which can be addressed with another year -- e.g. additional work experience and achievements, a stronger test score, more self-reflection and clarity around goals. There are many students in our current class who weren't admitted the first time they applied, and strengthened their candidacy the following year.
