Hello,

(D) putting disagreements cited by S in perspective by emphasizing similarities

Can someone please explain the 2nd part of the answer 'emhasizing on similarities'?

Unable to see how this part fits in.

Thanks!

Hi Rajat,

I think with similarities they mean that some scientists are predicting global warming as much as twice than others. Second argument says that scientists predict global warming to be between 1.5-4.5 degree celsius rise in next decade. You can clearly see that the range is almost double.
