Hey pnf0129 ,

Congratulations for the two great admits :)

I can see that you have already done alot of research.

I have one suggestion: Just determine whether your target industries recruit at Scheller in sufficient numbers. If yes, go for Scheller. It doesn't make sense spending alot on Emory in that case.

But if they don't recruit much from Scheller compared to Emory, come to Emory. (I could be your potential classmate :) )

Join our Emory WhatsApp group, if you haven't done so.

All the best :)

I am thinking internal consulting would be first priority, then operations, then a smaller boutique consulting firm. The industry is not as important as the specific roles, but would also love the opportunity to work in technology.

abhimahna was faster than me to say the same. :-D

According to both employment reports, both have close percentage to tech. But when It comes to internal strategy, Emory sends about 5% which is not clear in Scheller but i assume it will be the same percentage as people going to that role is about 3-5% in most schools. However, you need to to check with Scheller. In terms of operations, Scheller wins as it is known for operation but Emory send some to operations. You need to contact career office in both schools and learn more about firms and then you can weigh both.

Mo2men - Thanks for you reply! I've contacted both to get a feel for on-campus recruiters.

abhimahna - Thanks for the insights. Regardless of whether we'll be classmates next year, we'll both be in Atlanta on similar journeys. Not sure if you are local, but PM me if you want to get together sometime this summer.

Thanks again!

Hi pnf0129

Good action. I bet you will get decisive info for you. Although I'm international, I like Atlanta. I visited world of coca cola and the aquarium. In my other visit, I was accompanying my mentor in northern Atalanta. By the way, he is lecturer in the on of the executives program of Scheller in supply chain.
