Hi snamehra

Schulich offers application fee waiver if you ask them for it. However scholarships for international candidates are few & far in Schulich. Also I dont know of anybody that has received material scholarship.

snamehra
Is there any chance to get a fee waiver for MBA program at Schulich as the fee is beyond 60 lakhs which is quite expensive?

Now, you know someone. As an international student, I received an admit with around 40K scholarship. Also, in general, they give at least 5K scholarship.

What do you mean by "material scholarship"?

Hi tyildirim92

That's really impressive. Did you have to ask separately or was the scholarship provided directly during acceptance?
The fee is actually very high, not sure I will be able to attend if no good scholarship is provided.

Scholarship amount/letter is usually provided along with the acceptance letter. You never ask for scholarships but you can always negotiate. They are merit based. Apply multiple schools so that you have multiple offers. Then, you can use your offers to negotiate with multiple schools. Best of luck.

Hi tyildirim92
Yes now I definitely know someone😃

Hadn't seen Schulich hand out 40k scholarships. I have seen them give out 15-20k which I find is not material compared to the total fees.

Unfortunately there isn't much you can ask then. However dont loose heart. You can impress them with your profile and then mayne negotiate for a higher scholarship if you decide to go to Schulich

Hi tyildirim92

Just attended one of their fairs today and asked them about the waiver. The person said application waivers are given to only Schulich graduates or if a referral from a Schulich alum is received.

Generally, I don't think many Canadian B-schools offer application fee waivers. US schools are much better in this regard.

You should attend the ones an admission committee member presents the school, preferably MBA Tour Fairs. Not a recurring webinar. Best of luck.
